PAPER DOT
BESPOKE WEDDING STATIONERY
Laura & Jason
I simply cannot recommend Paper Dot highly enough - as a first and foremost, their work from start to finish was absolutely first class and far beyond anything I could have imagined for our wedding day. Claire completely understood what kind of day we wanted to achieve and she created many different bespoke pieces and a beautiful array of complimentary stationery that really made our day extra special.
Claire started off by creating the most beautiful suite of stationery I have ever seen - all hand drawn as well! There were subtle hints of destinations that had played a significant role in our relationship all encompassed within a beautiful wreath of garden foliage and flowers that would later reflect our unique venue choice. Claire went above and beyond to make sure that the invitations were bundled beautifully and even designed individual "J & L" monogram tags to bind the whole set together.
The theme from the invitations was then carried through to our order of service which Claire also designed and printed. The quality of finish was second to none and tied in perfectly with the flowers and decorations throughout the 'Moon Garden' during our ceremony.
Claire also made wooden sign posts with Bible verses hand-painted on them. They were placed inside the walled garden to guide our guests to the ceremony on the day. She also painted for us an 'Order of Day' pallet that I had found on my home farm. The artwork on the pallet was stunning and it really set off this rather unique idea.
As if this wasn't enough, Claire continued to create even more bespoke pieces for our wedding day that really did make it so memorable. Our table plan consisted of hand painted chalkboards. They incorporated pieces that would reflect both of our professions and certainly added a very personal touch. They both sat on art easels and looked incredible as you walked into the marquee.
Claire also created all of the table centres. They ranged from hand-embroidered hoops to compliment the colour scheme and hanging-number hoops decorated with crafted flowers. Each table centre was slightly different but it all came together and created a bespoke array of summer colours that tied in wonderfully with our fresh flower table arrangements.
Claire also created the table names which were completely unique in their own right. She had hand painted all of the guest names onto pieces of paper from books and placed them inside the circumference of small mason jars decorated with the same crafted flowers from the table centres. Guests then could use their tiny jar and fill it with sweets from the sweetie cart at the end of the night. The jars acted as place names and favours! The children also had their own place names in the form of pots filled with toys and goodies to keep them entertained during the speeches!
Claire really did think of absolutely everything! She also made individual menus for each guest dependant upon what they were having for dinner.
Finally, Claire made a beautiful scrapbook for us that acted as our guest book. It was decorated with pictures and drawings from other pieces of work she had done throughout the wedding. Guests then wrote personal messages on pieces of card and stuck them into the book.
Claire even came with her family to help set up our venue the day before the wedding which was just so incredibly kind!
Words cannot describe how beautiful all of Claire's work was for our wedding. She took our vision for our day and creatively added to it in ways we could never have imagined. The time and dedication she put into creating each bespoke piece and her impeccable attention to detail ensured that everything on the day was just perfect. Thank you to everyone at Paper Dot for making our day that extra bit special!

I have known Claire a number of years and have seen personally just how wonderfully creative she is and how passionate she really is about all things wedding related! As soon as myself and my partner got engaged, Claire offered her services and has been an absolute god send! She took the time to really listen to what we wanted for our invites and has created the most beautiful and personal invites, I have ever seen (although I maybe biased). They detail the history and journey of our relationship and have received lovely feedback from our guests. She should be very proud of her work. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she has dedicated so much time I feel blessed! Claire can turn her hand to anything and I have now tasked her with creating a thumb print guest tree, she never ceases to amaze me!

We had initially planned to get married August 2015 but my Papa, who was due to give me away at the wedding, was diagnosed with Leukaemia during December 2014. With this in mind, we moved the wedding plans forward to 31st March 2015. Concerned about what little time we had to prepare a wedding, I asked my friends in work if they knew anyone who created wedding stationery and Claire was highly recommended. My husband and I are one of those awful couples who are indecisive and are not very creative. Since I love the colour purple, I knew I wanted it somewhere in the invitations. Feeling a little sorry for Claire at this point, as we had given her little to go on, she asked me did we have any holiday destinations that meant anything to us. For Paul’s 30th I booked a holiday to Paris, where we loved to buy fresh bread and feed the little birds in the park while looking at the Eiffel Tower. From this idea, she made the most beautifully elegant, hand-drawn invitations. Since the invitations were so well-designed, I asked Claire if she could make us our place settings and table plan. Once again, we were wowed with the detail that went into the delicate roses made from old books and the leaves with our guest’s names on them. They were simply exquisite. The table plan and numbers were made from old books and the pages were folded into hearts. The wonderful attention to detail, along with our flowers created the simple elegance that we desired. Claire was in frequent contact, asking if we liked her ideas and if there was anything else we wanted her to do. In a very short space of time, Claire created the most beautifully elegant wedding invitations, place settings and table plans. I would wholeheartedly recommend Claire to anyone who wishes for beautifully created bespoke wedding stationery

When Claire, the most artistically talented lady I know, said she would design our wedding invitations, I was overjoyed and super excited as I knew they’d be awesome! We were living in Washington DC at the time and were far from home which made wedding planning an even greater and more stressful task with the distance and time difference, not to mention being far from family and friends
Claire was a dream to work with especially since we had a special personal travel theme in mind which she explored with genuine interest and creativity. She made time to skype me at strange times over weekends to discuss the ins and outs of the design, emailed exciting new sections of the drawings as they were completed, was super quick to make any little changes and was so patient and gracious with my *slight* indecisiveness…!
With an understanding of all that is involved in wedding planning, she was super supportive and empathetic, instinctively knowing which different components we needed to consider and include with the invitations
The beautiful invitations ended up being the catalyst for the theme of the rest of the wedding décor, with Claire becoming not only the designer for our invitations but for our place cards, table plan, table names and guest book artwork, all of which were finished so quickly and with such expert precision
We got so many lovely compliments from guests on the invitations – some even getting emotional when receiving them. And on our wedding day, guests commented on how pretty and unique the artwork was throughout
With her talent, creativity and experience, I can’t recommend Claire highly enough. She was an absolute joy to work with through the whole design process and was instrumental in making our wedding day the touching day it was

I wanted something unique and special for my wedding stationery. My wedding dress was elegant and graceful with clean lines and I wanted the same style reflected in my stationery. Many of our guests, as well as myself, now have the invitations framed and hanging in our homes as an individual piece of art and a reminder of our wedding day. Everything from the invitations to the table numbers exceeded my expectations
